Far Cry Instincts (Xbox)

Well the game comes out today and its gotten pretty favorable reviews. I plan to go buy this in a few minutes and was wondering if anyone else wants to try out the online with me later.

I got a call from Gamestop's automated reserve reminder service thingy about this game.

I didn't even know I had it reserved.

Friggin EB didnt have it in yet. 2 trips to the mall in 1 day sucks. I should have it later. Did trade in mine and my brothers copies of shitty ass Rainbow Six Lockdown and got $60 credit though.

Rainbow Six was bad? Ah well, I suspected as much.

As for Far Cry Instincts, the general consensus is that it's very good, possibly better than the PC version. Aside from the setting, they don't have much in common. All-new maps, Better voice acting, No Trigens. XD

I'm surprised considering how hard it was for them to cram it on the Xbox.

So far this game kicks ass. Online is actually pretty cool also. Only thing I think kinda blows is the vehicle controls. Its pretty funny to set a trap online and someone gets smacked by it. Game looks fantastic for Xbox. Tons of foilage and the online levels look nice also.

This game pisses on Lockdown. Its not Halo 2 fantastic online, but its probably the next best thing till Battlefield comes out.

I am really liking this so far. My problem with the PC game was that it seemed almost like a different game after the Trigens entered the scene. It was still fun, but I enjoyed killing the mercenaries more. I'm going to try the map editor and online tonight. So far it seems like they have done a great job of getting the game engine to run smoothly on the xbox.

Samurai and I got a few games in tonight and Predater mode is fan freaking tastic.
