Agreed, curse you chux.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of Earthbound in North America.
It's past time, but today I will finally start my adventure.
For the first time? Lucky bastard.

I've never played Earthbound, either. Does it truly live up to the hype?
No.
But it's still a great game.
It was incredible to me at the time, but it hit very specific notes. I had JRPG fatigue from all of the fantastic games that were out, dragons, knights, magic, sorecery etc. I was over it. Here comes this game about some kid in suburbia with a hat and baseball bat fighting everyday enemies? I'm in.
I couldn't tell you how the game is without nostalgia goggles though.
