    It was incredible to me at the time, but it hit very specific notes. I had JRPG fatigue from all of the fantastic games that were out, dragons, knights, magic, sorecery etc. I was over it. Here comes this game about some kid in suburbia with a hat and baseball bat fighting everyday enemies? I'm in.

    I couldn't tell you how the game is without nostalgia goggles though.
