-Online play can be done between players in several fashions: International matchmaking, Regional matchmaking, Friends, and Rivals.
-For online play, users are assigned a 12-digit number, and this is what is used to link up with friends... presumably, this is done so that usernames do not have to be unique.
-New Wario Land announced

-ASH is an SRPG by Mistwalker, and is actually being directed by Sakaguchi (he's only a producer for the X360 games)

Glad to see Nintendo not half-assing the DS's online implementation as opposed to the Gamecube (which in reality was no-assed).
Normally, I'd be upset about Nintendo whoring out Mario in another sports franchise, but the online announcement washed that anger away. If they make it 6 player online-compatible, then all will be really forgiven.

There was some talk about setting up your online account via registering your DS on your country's Nintendo website, which I really hope isn't the case. If it is, it could (possibly) screw people like me with import systems.
