I'm on the first disc of Cowboy Bebop, pleeeeease tell me the ending is good/to the point/understandable.

I might be exaggerating a bit but here are a few anime were the ending just involves everyone dieing, a few I can think off of the top of my head Gilgamesh, Chrono Crusade, and it's been a while since I've scene Evangelion but didn't it end with everyone dead and Shinji in some kinda alternate dimension choking out asuka, correct me if I'm wrong.
