Could someone help me out with my Action Replay MAX?

hi, im new here, but im really extremely confused.

I just bought a Action Replay Max for Ps2 at my gamestop today.

The thing is, everytime i put it in, it says "DISK READ ERROR"

All of my games work just fine and all that, but Action Replay wont load up, im really confused about this cause i just payed $25 for something that doesnt work? any of you guys have the same thing happen? if so what can i do, do u know how i can fix it?

i literally just bought it and just opened it. i dont see any scratches or anything and its definetly not dirty so i am so confused, i have a hard time digesting wasting money for something thats not working, and im hoping its the disk, cuz im not buying a 3rd ps2.

Also, disc is probably defective. Return it or something, like anything else that's broken. Tell me you didn't need a forum for that.

As long as you have a receipt, go to the store and exchange it for another one. You should also visit the forums of the Action Replay Max site to see if people are having similar problems and seeing their solutions.
