It's the subtle things that get minorities. Non-minorities don't see subtle racism because they're not sensitive to it.
I disagree. I'm white, and have experenced it first hand. Ive been treated like crap in stores/resturants in predominatly black areas more times than I can count. Fault me for liking Jamaican cooking...
I've been with minority friends in stores before and noticed how a store's secuirty dept. suddenly decides to make thier presence known.
It happens everywhere, I honestly believe it may be more human instinct to have a built-in mistrust of someone you don't know who isnt like you, than outright racisim. Its not right, but I can't really fault people for it.
