Hmmm... interesting. Seems as if it'll have similar problems to newer model PS2s.
This article also prompted me to realize that I must treat my current PS2 like gold, for if it breaks the new model PS2s won't play One!

Cept Lunar 2. Doh! I must test this out when I get home. Good thing I still have a boxed PSone system as a backup. This is making me realize that at some point we won't have access to working consoles for many of these older games. But maybe by that point we won't care.
