Thread: PS3 Backwards-Compatibility Issues?

  1. PS3 Backwards-Compatibility Issues?

    http://www.gamespot.com/news/6136677.html
Hmmm... interesting. Seems as if it'll have similar problems to newer model PS2s.
This article also prompted me to realize that I must treat my current PS2 like gold, for if it breaks the new model PS2s won't play One!

  2. to be fair, ALL the ps2 models have some hiccups in them with backward compatability...

  3. Most of those PS games that it won't play suck ass, anyway.

  4. PO'd doesn't work anymore? Aww.

  5. Cept Lunar 2. Doh! I must test this out when I get home. Good thing I still have a boxed PSone system as a backup. This is making me realize that at some point we won't have access to working consoles for many of these older games. But maybe by that point we won't care.

"50,000! You scored 50,000 points on Double Dragon?"

  6. I remember playing Lunar 2 on my PS2 late last year....
    No gnus is good gnus.

  7. Both Lunar 2 and Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo play on my PS2.

  8. didn't work so well on a slimps2 i bought 3 months ago.

Yeah, 'cause it's not a problem on all PS2s.
