Yea I knew about that rule cuz the same thing happened to me and my friend back around 2002. When we tried to get in a Celtics vs. Pistons game.

The funny thing is since the lower level (main floor) is where the commuter rails are located. There are literally hundreds of bags, suit cases, brief cases, purses and drugs passing through and you will not see any signs about not having bags till you actually go one flight up on the escalator towards the arena doors.

Not the best idea to be giving people with authority the finger, but handing over your ticket wasn't something I would've suggested.

regardless, properly posted for all to see. and really....why the fuck would anybody need a bag at an arena? you already know you can't bring in your own food and drink so why the hell would you need one? makes no sense.

Baggy pants solves alot of those problems. I usually pack a .25 soda (grape mostly) and little debby whenever I go to theaters.
