holy crap...I can buy an "arcade machine" at Target? That's awesome...I'd pick one up if I owned a house.

Talk about taking retro gaming to the next level. Target Stores will offer BigGames Home Video Arcade machines that will retail for less than $500 nationwide in November of 2005. Each unit plays 12 of the original arcade versions of the most popular Midway¬ games including: Defender¬, Defender¬ II, Robotron¬, Joust¬, Bubbles¬, Splat», Sinistar¬, Rampage¬, Rootbeer Tapper», Wizard of Wor», Timber», and SatanÍs Hollow». The unit stands 62î tall and has an included, built-in, full color monitor. It comes with additional A/V inputs that allow (almost) any existing home video game system, DVD player, VCR or any other A/V product to be plugged in and viewed on the built-in monitor. I only have one question, where is the Galaga?

For a dark man shall come unto the House of God, and the darkness shall be upon him, yea, even within him.

It will be made of cardboard.
Aww... look at how small the joystick and button portion is. I was gonna say, "Hey, I bet we can mod the hell out of that shit!", but not anymore...
We should be getting these with in the the next couple of weeks (Target employee). It is going to be cool to see this in the store. I'm just glad I don't work anywhere near the electronics dept.
full color monitor?... hunk of junk if you ask me.
Hmmmm, I wonder if these things have any potential as decent starting points for MAME cabs.
.
What a peice of shit. Midway Arcade Treasures offered more games and I can play them on a monitor worth viewing on.
