We're hosting a special promotional giveaway aimed towards artists or anyone with some degree of creativity in their genes.
I figured those of you that are artistically inclined would appreciate this. At the very least, it's a great opportunity see some of the awesome talent periodically offered here.

Long story short (based upon Lhadatt's own explanation) -- we set up an https setup primarily for promotions when participants enter their information (name, address, etc.) via the online form.
The security "issue" is your browser attempting to tell you that the certificate both belongs to another site (niftytech.net) and is self-signed. It is shared with niftytech since I have not yet gotten the time to move GN to it's own IP address. The browsers see this behavior as insecure, because it normally is - but not really in this case. It is self-signed because Thawt charges $129 and Verisign charges $600 for signed certificates, and frankly -- neither of us are goign to pay such an extreme amount when we can simply go with a self-sign solution
Anyways, since information isn't being collected via the online form -- we've disabled the https -- so feel free to drop on over there. But in the future when it's actually in operation, I can assure you that the connection is both secure and set up for your protection.
