    Total Overdose

I had pretty low expectations for this game but after playing the PS2 demo I'm impressed. It's like a cross between Max Payne(bullet time effects) and GTA(the way you enter vehicles and general feel). It's also for PC and Xbox. Check it out if you're into third-person shooters.

  2. I saw an early version of this game on G4 at my friends house, and we had a good laugh at it.
It looked like any generic 3rd person action game, but crazier and funnier.
Where did you play the demo?

  3. got a chance to play this awhile back, and it's garbage. nothing but horrible beaner humor combined with shoddy level design.

if you want a sandbox title, go get Mercenaries instead.

It's on the December Official Playstation Magazine disc.

That's exactly how I felt playing the PC demo... only with it being not as good as Max Payne. If I found a copy for cheap I'd play it but it doesn't scream Rush Out And Play Me to me.

  7. I thought it was supposed to be like Serious Sam.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

  8. is this the one they showed on G4 in a Mexican level? i remembered lots of guns and one-liners.

  9. yeah, now imagine horrible game design, badguys that spawn behind you randomly, and big fat mexican wrestlers that roll around with brooms.
