You can start with places like play-asia, lik-sang, and even ncsx
Any particular genre of games you're after?
I just traded a friend an Xbox 360 Play and Charge kit for a Japanese PS2. It seems to work fine, except I have no "real" games to test it out with. So I need to know the following:
1) What reliable source sells these games on the cheap, or as close to cheap as possible. Not exactly looking for rare stuff, maybe a good fighting game or a shooter here and there.
2) Is it good to stack two PS2s on top of eachother? I'm running out of room, so I fugured I could stack the JPS2 on top of the other one, but if that means less shelf life I'd rather figure out something else. I don't want to stand them since I hear they wear out faster if stood.
3) Is there a list of JPS games that the JPS2 can't play?
I only ask you because you are the best of the best of the best. And I <3 you all.
All is well.

Fighting games and schmups basically. Puzzle games are always nice.

Play-asia has a whole budget section, though you're better off with yesasia.com for full priced games (generally cheaper + free shipping), which includes just about every shump. You're not going to find many deals on those.
Drag-on Dragoon 2 and Gundam: One Year War are some good buys for cheap action games. Unless you're into the Simple 2000 series, for anything else you'll probably have to pay $60+ a pop.
For your other issues, there's no problem stacking the systems on top of each other, and I only have a few Japanese PS games, but all of them play fine.

My advice:
Trade one of your PS2s in for a modchip.
for some reason nobody ever wants to do that here.Originally Posted by kedawa

it defies all logic.
Here's something that doesn't: PS2 mods have like 20 wires and you can quite easily kill your PS2.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne
I paid $70 for a chip + installation two years ago. I imagine it costs even less now.
thats the point i was tring to make.Originally Posted by FirstBlood
