2 Day Rule?

Two days makes sense.... but I think its kind of a dumb rule.

It really just comes down to the person. I mean, if youre like really into this girl or whatever, and you hit it off with her, why wait two days?

I don't get it either. I just call whenever I want and no one brings up the rule or acts like it's even worth following. Maybe the mentality's different up here than elsewhere, but waiting doesn't seem to have any advantage.
