    Sorry, but Nolan is way too integrated into history books for that to happen.

    Pretty much every gaming history book written in the '90s/'00s mentions Baer at least. Sadly, most gamers probably don't recognize either name let alone other early pioneers.

    I definitely recommend Baer's book Videogames: In the Beginning.

    A few things wrong with this post:

    1. Bushnell deserves all the credit he gets, but especially on the business end of it.

    2. What history books? There's plenty more to be written about the game industry.

  9. I agree with diff. Nolan did some amazing stuff, and shouldn't be overlooked.

    Howeevr I don't have any problem seeing a Videogame History. The "industry" at least 20 years old.
