I think JM used to work at a Gamestop and now is over at Target. I don't know what his position is, but having worked at both he might be very helpful for you. He's a very cool guy, I'm sure if you send him a PM he will respond and be helpful.
I believe bahn was/is a Gamestop manager but who else is/was?
A few Gamestop management openings have become available recently in my area for stores to be open soon but before I put in an effort on my resume, is the job worth it? I'm currently management at Target and looking for something new...
sorry if this is on the wrong board

Thanks for the heads up
I was a GS assistant manager while I finished college.
A friend of mine and her husband were at one time Target managers. From what I understand Target's pay is probably going to be better. The job was pretty cool for a retail Job (I had management positions at Circuit City and Abercrombie prior). I had a lot of fun, but bought too much (back then the discount was MUCH better than now).
LMK if you have any specific q's.

I was AM at a gamestop and I hated life.
Don't do it; the company is horrible.
Trust me, there are MUCH worse jobs out there.
not really
I'm sure there's worse jobs; but Gamestop hates the people who work for them.
No disrepect, but you could say that about any retail mgmt job.Originally Posted by Opaque

I would hope there are companies out there where shit like that doesn't happen.
