Twas an inside joke from the last TNL meetup.

Anywho, the offer for the extra ticket to the Artie Lange taping still stands. If you're interested, in NYC, and definitely free on Thursday, send me a PM.

  2. Yeah, thanks again for the offer, Cow. If I didn't have that interview I would totally take you up on it.

  3. Gilbert Gottfried + George Takei + Shit Sprinkles + Ed McMahon's Audio Book = awesomeness.

  4. The Ed McMahon phony phone call was great, but I'm so fucking sick of Gilbert Gottfried being on every other day.

Gilbert's only on like once a month; the problem is that Fred uses Dice Gottfried clips every 5 minutes. I love it when Artie and Gilbert set out to derail the news; my favorite was the "Watermelon Loving-Berry" incident.

  6. I'm a huge fan of the Gilbert belly laugh, especially when it's inappropriately played after Robin reads a horrible news story.

Once a year would be too much.

No one even approaching celebrity status even goes near Stern's show anymore. The closest he's had is when Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O came on when Jackass Number Two came out. Nowadays he just interviews washed-up losers like Gilbert, Dice, and Dee Schnider. Shit, the other day he did a phone interview with some guy who used to be the weatherman for Channel 9 News back when I was a kid. I almost felt sorry for Howard.

Not that Sterns needs celebrity guests anyway- the Sirius show is more than awesome enough without them. I just pray that Artie doesn't end up leaving (either because of Hollywood or death).

I usually tune out when they have a guest on, the show is much better when they have a bit going on or they are just shooting the shit.

  9. I still say they should fire the entire news department and use their combined salaries to hire Geroge Takei full-time. The show is always 100x better when he's on.

  10. I'm not sure he would do it, I think he lives in Arizona or Southern California
