Some nonsense about Howard being Artie's 'bro' or not be. I didn't fully understand it.

I agree, I really like Artie on the show and hate to see him go.
But, if he did go, who do you think would be a good replacement? Personally, I always like Greg Fitzsimmons when he comes on to do news. He'd add some smart humor to the show rather than just straight-up sophomoric humor all the time which would be a good thing, imo.
I was never a fan of Jackie Martling. Ever. Artie was 10,000x better and frankly, he made the Stern show the best it's ever been, IMO. It's hard to think of a suitable replacement.
Then again, Artie's threatened to leave before. Maybe he'll change his mind. It's such a sweet gig- he's paid huge money to sit, hang out, and eat for 5 hours a day, 4 days a week. Every weekend is a 3 day weekend, and he gets a whole week off for almost every holiday (the Stern show is off all next week for Memorial day). Plus, the show's only got another 3 1/2 years before Howard retires. PLUS, he's allowed to take off whenever he wants to film TV shows/movies.
As for what the arguement was, I'm not 100% sure either. It started out that Stern wanted to do some kind of Dating Game with Artie involving girls that like fat guys, which Artie didn't want to do. Next thing, Artie is accusing Howard of bring up things on the air that Artie told him in confidence off the air, or something.
The funny thing is that Artie is probably leaving because he thinks he'll get all of this work in Hollywood, not realizing that the only reason Hollywood is paying any attention to him is because of the Stern show. Leaving is career suicide, IMO. Look at Jackie- he left the show, went broke, and his wife left him.

He would have to promise to never do impressions. Al Pachino's baby is awful. Other than that nothing about him really stands out to me.
I'd vote for Adam Carolla. His FM show sucks and I think they'd like to be rid of him anyway, but he probably wouldn't take the Stern gig.
I'd also love Gilbert Gottfried, but I'm sure there are probably more people that would hate it than love it.
Best choice: Mark the Bagger. I wish he were on more. Mark > Beetlejuice
Maybe they could use this opportunity to get Billy West back
I agree 100%.
I like Adam, and he's a good choice, but I think his personality/delivery is a little too laid-back and Howard would totally dominate him in conversations. Jimmy Kimmel would actually be a great choice but I think he has a talk show or something.I'd vote for Adam Carolla. His FM show sucks and I think they'd like to be rid of him anyway, but he probably wouldn't take the Stern gig.
FUCK NO.I'd also love Gilbert Gottfried
Mark is funny, and I do wish his mom let him on the show more often, but having him be a regular member of the cast would be the most retarded idea ever. I mean, by your logic, why not have High Pitch or Jeff the Drunk replace Artie?Best choice: Mark the Bagger. I wish he were on more. Mark > Beetlejuice
He was only, repeat, ONLY funny when he was doing the Jackie Puppet.Maybe they could use this opportunity to get Billy West back
That said, if he ONLY played Jackie Puppet, I would love having him back.

Jackie Puppet is also the reason I wouldn't mind having Jackie back (if West is there too of course)
If they bring Jackie Martling back I may cancel my Sirius subscription.
Luckily, Howard has said multiple times on the air that he loves Jackie, but he's such a giant pain in the ass that he would never want to work with him again.

I really hope they don't bring Jackie back, I'm just not a fan. Not sure who they could replace Artie with, I would just rather him stay. Maybe Colin Quinn?
