The Mac OSX video codec thread

Really? I couldn't before, installed 2.0.1, and now everything is peachy in Firefox. I even now get the Save drop-box with the browser plugin, which I didn't before.

yeah it works fine in firefox. I was just worried coz i found it on MS' website.

Just got my Intel Mac... I've never used a Mac before, but I'm quite proficient with Windows and Linux. Anyhow, do these codecs work with the Intel machines? FrontRow is awesome, but it won't play any of my XviD or WMV videos.

I just bought a mac mini for my girlfriend today and we're confused about so many things I don't even know where to start asking questions.

I imagine because its so EASY TO USE that we'll have everything figured out by tomorrow. Later this week I get my G5.
