They should distinguish reprints from originals and you would think the original publisher, say Capcom for example, would demand this in case of consumer complaints, lawsuits, defective merchandise, etc...
Otherwise, a decent idea.
I consider myself a collector and still think this is awesome. Maybe more companies will start to do this and rarez0rz games will be a thing of the past.

Who would buy Silvergun to collect it? You have to play that shit if you got it, son. And I got it good.Originally Posted by diffusionx

They should reprint those Euro Kizuna Encounters for the Neo Geo.
In a serious note, they should reprint Valkyrie Profile.
Silvergun is a brilliant game. I want it and have wanted it but I can't shell out the money now or ever. A reprint would be wonderful so more people can enjoy the game.Originally Posted by Rocca
I'd also love to see alot of the import PSX stuff get reprints, like Panzer Bandit and Zanac X etc. I doubt that would happen but what the heck. at least maybe all the rare Saturn US stuff will get reprints.

Time for a change
I think this is great news. I would love to have some of those WD Saturn games reprinted. Doubt anything like that will ever happen.
I should probably bank on getting rid of of my copy of Valk Profile w/guide soon.
Considering Square reprinted Cronicles, Anthology, Xenogears and Vagarant Story themself reciently, it surprises me that they don't reprint Valk Profile and Dragon Warrior VII.
You could just go buy Space Channel 5: Special Edition for the PS2. It contains both the original and followup game.Originally Posted by dakidski
Fucking douchebags. But if Game Quest Direct really is controlling the flow of these imports by acting as a pseudo-publisher how are they appearing at Gamestop? Simple, Game Quest Direct is selling them directly to Gamestop. A representative spokesperson has said that they decided to unload a sizeable amount of inventory to Gamestop at a bulk price. However since Gamestop sells used copies of these games at a higher price they’ve taken the liberty of unsealing and selling the brand new game as a used copy.
No kidding. Would doing a simple price adjustment (done to many titles just about every day of the week) have killed them?
The real reason- used games are what they want to sell. If the EB/Gamestop corporate blob could get away with being used games only, they would.
