Quads FTW. I remember the hallways linkin the houses together and it was like some kinda cool random dungeon. With lounges and laundry rooms.

The underground tunnels are pretty cool, I'll give you that. Everything else about the Quads sucks though.

That sucks although it must be pretty cool to sneak around. Our's connect all of the buildings within the Quad and have a central lounge that has a big screen TV, pool table, and foosball table. There's a ping pong table too but it's all kinds of fucked up. Oh, and vending machines.

The earth, nor any of the other planets go around the earth in a perfect circle. They typically travel elliptical. The earth is closer to the sun during the winter. That is why Australia is a virtual desert. They have harsh summers at the same time we are having mild winters.

The reason is that the earth's orbit around the sun is slightly elliptical, or egg-shaped, and the sun is a little off-center of the ellipse (technically, it lies at one focus). The earth is actually closer to the sun, and the sun is thus brighter, during January. It appears dimmer at the northern latitudes because it lies lower in the sky, and its rays must pass through a greater thickness of atmosphere.

Since the orbit of the Earth around the Sun is an ellipse, surprisingly, the Earth is closer to the Sun for a Northern Hemisphere winter than it is in the summer. That would imply that the Southern Hemisphere has slightly colder winters and warmer summers than the Northern.
