  2. Alot of colleges are just really expensive daycare centers, but not even because the colleges suck (though I'm sure alot of them do), but because the experience is what you make of it.

It's funny to think that alot of these kids are paying a ton of money for their degree but in reality might wind up with jobs that don't even need it.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

  3. A degree often times separates you from the people that don't have one at all.

  5. I don't know what american colleges are like, but in canada, colleges can only grant diplomas, which are basically just receipts.
The best thing you can get out of college is a work term or some type of industry certification.
A child, or perhaps a very well trained ape could get a diploma in most programs.
Universities, on the other hand, are accredited to grant degrees, and there really are no easy degrees. Sure, you don't need to be a genius to get a BFA or something like that, but you have to do a shitload of work and have a very high level of literacy and critical thinking skills.

Of course, but with the job market how it is now, alot of these dumb kids will just get weeded out, and then what will they be doing? Who knows.

I also just wasn't referring to the piece of paper you get at the end, in that you paid all this money to go to school and learn all this stuff, but in the end you may never really use it. I understand that when it comes down to it college is really about learning how to learn, but alot of these kids are apparently missing that message as well.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
