    Apple Cinema Display problem.

So yeah, everything seems to be plugged in right (I'm using it on a PC btw). I shut down the computer and then there's a 50/50 chance that the monitor will shut off automatically too. Apple being the fancy pricks that they are, don't have a manual power-off button on the thing. What's there is this circular area that works based on some silly touch technology that falls flat when using it on a PC (that probably doesn't make any sense)

I basically have it plugged into it's own powerstrip now that I can switch off when the monitor doesn't feel like doing it by itself.

Is this normal or is this thing defective? I'm sure if it was plugged into a Mac Mini or tower it would work fine (but alas, it isn't)

  2. i know only certain pc cards can output on those displays. don't know if that has anything to do with it.
