    Same thing happened with me a few times. Some guy had an email address that was two letters off from my own. D: No one even thanked me for sending the money back. Jerks.
    For a while, i was getting some weird e-mails from a friend or boss or business partner of his too.

  2. The buyer sent me a thank you note, which sort of surprised me. I still can't believe the seller didn't know which free email service he was using.

    I never trust any email that says "Bank Account Issue", "Update your account information", etc. even if the From field does claim that it's from PayPal or other such sites. If something does come up, I'll go to the real site to check my account status. Never do I click email links.

    One HTML-coded false PayPal email even had the gall to ask for my ATM PIN. Come on phishers, do you think I'm that fucking stupid?
