    sorry im no video cam expert, so i would really apprecite some feedback. i wish it could also record in 720p, but it only does 1080i....which is good eough right?

    Hotness. Do you dump the video into your comp for editing and the such, or just view playback? For a consumer level HD cam that is actually not a bad price.

    yes ofcourse you can dump it on the PC. My bro has a DVD handycam, im not too impressed by it honestly. but i managed to rip all the DVDs to my PC for backup.

    I was asking if YOU do it, not whether or not you can.

    I was asking because capturing an hour of 1080i video requires 594 gigs of storage. Thats, uh, alot.

    no that's BS. on that HD cam you can record more than 30 minutes on single tape.

    besides, if 1 hour requires 594GB(or whatever), then how the fuck do they cram HD movies on Bluray or HD-DVD.
