Anywhere that thinks that the NBA matters is fucking backwards anyway, so the hell with the "downtown" crowd.

I live in SuburbLand and hockey doesn't exist here, either.

I posted some NHL attendance info in the hockey thread.

  4. The Mets have an even weaker lineup than last night. *sigh*

I noticed that Glavine often gets the worst lineups of all pitchers when injuries occur or if they get a day game after night game situation.

WHY IS JOSE VALENTIN ON THIS TEAM??!! my god..get him off. Now with Anderson Hernandez having huge back spasms this may mean Matsui will be back soon. oh lordy.. just leave Woodward there.

  6. Fuck all this nonsense and call up Milledge already.

A few Baby Braves (LaRoche, Langerhans) are talking shit already about the Mets. It would be nice if Glavine drilled one right in the numbers, but he's probably thinking about a return next year.

Nevermind, the shit-talking Braves aren't in the lineup today. Coincidence?

Actually, the Braves' lineup might be worse than ours today. LOL.

Like that makes a difference. They always find a way to beat the Mets and I'm fucking sick of it. Nice to see the Mets have injuries and now a slumping Wright when the Braves come to town. Great timing. Mets have a horrid bench. At least the Braves bench has capable young players.

  8. Delgado's going to dial Hudson's number today eventually. Hopefully they'll be a runner or two on and then Glavine and a decently-rested pen can make it stick.

  9. Umm wtf is Wright's problem today? 3 errors in 2 innings?

  10. Depressing day for the Mets. A sad weaksauce lineup, garbage bench, sloppy play by Reyes and Wright (who are both in slumps now) and an outfield that consists of Endy Chavez and Jose Valentin. I feel for Glavine. He deserves so much better.

Three errors by David Wright today. He looked bad at the plate too. Bad day for the Metropolitans on all counts. Same old same old versus the Braves.
