Mariano Rivera has only appeared in 6 games this year...mainly because the Yanks' great lineup and awful rotation don't produce many close games. Torre has got to get him into more games or he's never going to find his groove.

Phillies lost today but still managed to go 2/4 in their series vs. Colorado. Due to the fact that they have better luck on the road and they're playing Florida and Pittsburg on their trip I think they can finish the month above .500. This will be key if the team hopes to have a reasonable chance at making the post-season I think. Their offense has been breaking out and their bullpen has improved and their starting pitching seems to be coming around. Here's to hoping they continue to improve.
