The point is the "yanks" living adjacent to you get the same amount of snowfall. A moderate amount, which amounts to "yes, it did snow a bit for a few months."
Yet Toronto still gets a lot more snow then the USA... so what's your point man? lol

Yeah, Toronto was just brutal in January.![]()
Fun fact: approximately 90% of the population of Canada is concentrated within 160 km of the US border.
So you are saying that it snows in New York the same amount as it does in Toronto/Ottawa?
You sir, need to find better sources of your information.
This winter has been nothing. I'll admit that. A couple bad days here or there but nothing major. Although I'm used to winter driving so maybe nothing to us is a lot to some states.Yeah, Toronto was just brutal in January.
These stereotypes of Canada living in igloos didn't just make themselves up you know.![]()

What a lovely end to this day. The boiler in my house is dead and was spewing carbon monoxide all last night. It's off now, the house is possibly flooded with CO, and its freezing. Can't sleep because of all this.
Thank you, snow.
Then I doubt you have anything to worry about with the CO.Originally Posted by ChaoofNee

Here, just take a look at this map. In many places the map would indicate quite a bit more than 50" annual.Originally Posted by jonas
We don't get that much snow. I think Jonas is exaggerating here. This winter isn't really a good measuring stick as to the kinds of winters we can get here. It's more of a big buildup of constant snow over the winter that makes it bad.
But at the same token the guys in Ottawa and Montreal have it much, much worse than us.

My car! I'm sure the plow covered most of it, seeing how those benches aren't completely covered. I can still laugh about it.
