Thread: DS and PSP online games

  1. DS and PSP online games

I want to compile a complete list of games(out now and coming soon) that are playable online for DS(WFC) and PSP(infrastructure).

Some games just aren't marked well or games that are coming out have piss poor information making it very unclear. I think this list could be very helpful as a quick glance check list for owners of either system.

  2. MLB, Twisted Metal for PSP, among others I'm sure

    WO Pure is IS?

  3. I think WWE Smackdown vs. Raw '06 for the PSP uses ad-oc.

    lupin III fan

  4. I thought I read that Wipeout was but maybe I'm wrong. I don't have it so I'll remove it from the list until it gets confirmed.

  5. Darkstalkers(PSP) claims to be Adhoc/Infrastructure on the back of the box, can anyone confirm that it is infrastructure for sure?

  6. Darkstalkers can't be played via Infrastructure, it's Ad-Hoc only -- just like the recent release of SFAlpha 3 Max.

  7. the following are ad hoc:

    Worms: Open Warfare (PSP)
    Burnout Legends
    Virtua Tennis: World Tour
    Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee
    Lumines

Technically, there's a way you could -- but you have to do a bit of hacking to make it work. There was one website that I can't recall in which they had some sort of of "Warp Pipe" setup and it's buried somewhere in that extensive PSP discussion thread. Bandit should remember.

Back on topic to games that work -- Need for Speed Most Wanted supports Ad-Hoc/Infrastructure. And who can forget Ridger Racer (PSP) which offers Ad-Hoc support.

  9. here's a better listing of what's ad hoc/infrastructure for PSP:

Its not called Warp Pipe but called xLink Kai. Its a free tunneling service. It was a pain trying to get it setup as you would need the compatible wireless items and stuff to work. It might be easy now but I'm not sure. I havent tried since probably the summer.

Another to the list is Winning Eleven for the PSP. Dont know if its ad or infrastructure but I have a feeling its infra.

    *edit*
Seems my cousin beat me to bahn's reply regarding the tunneling service.
