Thread: Star Wars Transformers

  1. #11
I'm totally buying all these but just leaving them in the package. The robots aren't worth transforming them, but I just can't ignore the love child of two of the best things about the 1980s.

  2. This look like complete ass. Some things just don't mix.
    Check out my blog: ExHardcoreGamer.com

  3. These things are pretty awful. Guy at work got three of them (Vader, Obi Wan, and Grievous). While Grievous is actually kinda cool (he makes sense!), the others are just abysmal. Really awful robots and weak transformations.

  4. The X-Wing and that other ship look fairly awesome, the Vader one....not so much because of the whole face thing. I'd rather it look more transformer'ish in the head like they did with Darth Maul.

From what I see, I'm going to have to agree with you. Grievous is probably the only one I'd purchase (if I were into the idea).

  8. For anybody getting Obi-Wan, Anakin, and/or Darth Maul, they all come with pins in their wrists (I guess for safety reasons). The pins don't actually hold the hands on the figure, they just make sure the hands can't be popped off and eaten. However, they also make it so the wrists don't rotate. Take a hammer and a nail and beat the pins out a bit. Then take plyiers and rip them out the rest of the way. The playability of the figure goes up a ton. Here's photos with the pins out:

And by the way, Maul is 20X better than the rest of the figures so far. I'll have photos of him up soon.
