You're in luck. Go preorder Ultimate Ghosts 'N' Goblins. I have no problem with compilations, ports, or remakes, as long as they are priced accordingly. For instance, $30 for Maverick Hunter X seems right for a complete, top-to-bottom remake. $40 for a port of Street Fighter Alpha 3 is horse shit.
