Arcade Contra sucks ass and Haunted Castle is even worse. I like PooYan but this is still a pretty shitty collection. It'll be a nice nostalgia shock for a lot of people.

For Japan that is a budget price and as I mentioned:

come with a music CD, a DVD of someone mastering the game, a history booklet, and a instruction manual which also show the chip boards for the original arcade games.

A bit more than slapping a crappy emulator on a disc and shipping it. Even if the quality of a individual release is questionable this series has a archival character to it and worth as much as any of the budget collections we've seen in the past few years. *-neo
