I've got an idea - why don't they put time, effort, money, and resources in making a cell phone that gets a good signal, doesn't drop calls, and costs a flat rate per month instead of giving us the ability to launch nuclear missles, type messages with 9 keys, and browsing the web with a 2" screen?

For the same reason other companies choose quantity over quality.

I just don't understand why cell phones can't give us a workable D-pad. That problem was solved in 1984. How cell phone makers are 22 years behind is beyond me...

Hint* Don't put a button in the middle of the d-pad.

I tried out the cell version of Lumines at E3, and was actually impressed. I was expecting it to be a novelty, and nothing more, but they actually pulled it off pretty decently.

It's available now. I was looking into downloading it, as my cell phone is much smaller than that damn clunky PSP thing.
But, airtime required for play? What the fuck?
