The first one was up on steam for 5 bucks this weekend. Money well spent.
The PC controls aren't great but they get the job done. And for $5, you can't really complain. Especially since the PC version does higher resolutions than the console versions.
There's zero change of an Xbox Originals release anytime soon - BG&E is still not on the backwards compatibility list.
The game had a great atmosphere, a good Act 1 for an over-reaching story, and pretty blah gameplay. Don't get me wrong - it was decent, but kinda easy and dull. The kind of gameplay a series with a higher pedigree would be crucified for, or wouldn't amount to shit for an unknown game with half the charm and aesthetic.
This game is gonna flop so hard.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."
I'd be really shocked if it doesn't do pretty decent numbers.
aw but I want this game to do well, because I freakin loved the first one!
Anyway I hope they tie up all the loose ends in this one since they'll never get to do a 3.
if this footage is real, holy fuck

That's almost certainly a proof-of-concept video. Could you imagine playing with that sort of camera?
That said, it looks amazing.
Assassin's Edge 2? It's looks sweet (but not really how I want BG&E to look) but I agree it doesn't seem to be actual gameplay.
