For once, I agree. I don't understand the cult status it has at all.

  5. It was good when I played it in 2004 or 2005. but not in 2015

I expect it's a Goldeneye type deal. It's a competent enough game on its own merits and refined for the time, and you hadn't played a better one first, it's special!

The Goldeneye comparison doesn't really work. That's about console-only gamers unaware of what was on PC. Pretty much every BG&E fan has played Zelda and similar games.

I loved BG&E but I couldn't believe they didn't include a damn inverted look option for the remaster. Having customization options is expected nowadays.

It's a polarizing game in multiple ways. The world, character designs, music, etc. are either appealing or off-putting. It's also not bogged down with filler like many action-adventures but that compactness makes it feel less grand and epic for a lot of people.

This was one of my favorite things about it. I remember it came out within a few months of Wind Waker and the difference between those approaches was night and day.

  9. It's not exactly that, but I think it's a cousin to it, beyond platform specifics. Personally I feel like I got that flavor already between MDK 2 and Wind Waker.

  10. The fuck does a little pig on a beard guy have to do with anything?

    This is getting ridiculous.
