80's Anime

watched all of Mospeada off and on this month.

I haven't watched the robotech version in years but I remember this being better. I think it has a lot to do with the original music being pretty bland.

Yeah, you're definitely not thinking of the right thing. The only parent you meet in the first ep of KOR is the father of the main guy and his little sisters. They move to a new town. The main guy meets the main girl outside of school then goes to his new school and finds out she's a delinquent. He also meets her best friend. There's a big fight with some motorcycle punks. That's about all that happens in the first episode.

I just realized I was thinking of Devil Hunter Yoko. Anyway, carry on.

The Patlabor OVAs are releasing in a blu-ray collection next month. Pretty nice price!

I'd you guys haven't found those Patlabor movie boxsets on sale somewhere, I'd look. They're classy and cheap!
