DVD backup stuff for the mac.

The new Mac The Ripper (3.0 14L) sorta does the trick for me (every now and then movies I rip will skip like crazy after the first chapter)

I use Popcorn to burn the dvd's... that has never failed me, as long as the rip went through well.

Try Handbrake. It is a good and free mac dvd ripper.

I thought this was primarily for MPEG-4 (ipod shit)... it does standard conversion as well? I almost looked more into it until I got a hold of the new Mac the ripper.
