This is good news for the two Americans that own a Japanese Xbox.
Over-G: Energy Airforce
After a couple of pushbacks, Taito has finally released Over-G on 3/30.
This is somewhat similar to the Ace Combat series, but more realistic in some ways. While Sega may have slapped the name "G-LOC" on one of their games, that term is actually relevant to Over-G. Strong G-forces can cause you to either red out or black out.
When starting on a mission, you choose one of your different planes (i.e. F-14, F-16, MiG, etc.) and then a wingman who will fly the same type plane. You can change the armament or add extra fuel if desired. Some wingmen aren't comfortable with certain planes, and will say stuff like "You expect me to fly in THAT?".
The game's intro features the song "Destination" by the Japanese rock group Janne Da Arc. It's a great track. An instrumental version of this one and some other tracks are selectable as BGM for replays.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

It's a 360 game, so no dice.Originally Posted by sethsez

Oh.
Isn't that region free unless the publisher decides otherwise? I wonder if this is region locked.
Yes, but all Japanese games so far have been region locked, so there's not much chance.Originally Posted by sethsez

I've read nothing but bad things about this game so far, but it's not like it has much competition at the moment.
Well, it should be coming out over here before too long. UbiSoft is bringing it to the States for a 2nd Quarter release.Originally Posted by Joust Williams
