Thread: EA Treats Xbox Live Gamers Like Shit

  1. You can't create a spam account because they pull your data from your Xbox Live account.

But you can be put on the national no-call list for free. Even if that weren't true, there's only one local phone book you would be listed in, it's a one-time fee. If this EA thing goes unchallenged, every single publisher that puts out an XBL game could charge this fee. If you play 12 games from 12 different publishers, boom, there's $24 out of your pocket.

EA's also the only company that demands one uses their networks. Everyone else uses Microsoft's. Microsoft doesn't spam up the e-mail addy I signed up for live on, yet they handle assloads more traffic, assumedly.

One shouldn't have to spend $2 for EA's "special" service when one is already paying for Microsoft's.

I have an xbox live account. Microsoft doesn't have my credit card information.

Any of you with half a brain could figure out how to do this yourself.

Stop bitching about stupid shit pls.

They have my hotmail address. OH NOES!

    Spam away.

  8. Seriously. Give them a valid yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc. account. I don't know how you stop them from getting your credit card information (PayPal?)

Ooooh yeah. Forgot about the cards.

  10. People shouldn't have to set up workarounds and proxies in order to trick companies into respecting their right to not recieve unwanted solicitation.
