    Or, you can boycott EA.

    That's what I've been doing.
Currently playing: Binary Domain (PC), EVE Online: Retribution (PC), Guild Wars 2 (PC)

  4. It's only a boycott if you actively deny yourself the purchase.

    I'm just not interested.

That last part is very underrated.

  6. EA Japan was cool at one time, for being the publisher of the Saturn versions of Raizing's Soukyugurentai and Battle Garegga.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

yeah, but they want to punish microsoft for making Xbox Live & thinking they could cut EA out of the loop

  10. I played a few games of NFS:Most Wanted with Bahn over the holiday season on 360 Live Arcade. Nobody asked me for anything and I haven't got a bit of e-mail from EA. I take it this is just starting?

Doesn't really matter to me, I don't own a single EA game now that NFS:MW is gone. That may change with Spore on PC, assuming EA's the publisher, but thankfully I know how to use http://www.mailinator.com

EA as a company is in the business of making money. Games are just the means they have to the end, but at no point in the last decade has anyone in their corporate office cared much about them. So long as there's a potential to maximize another stream of revenue, it will happen. My advice is that, seeing as they don't care about you, you shouldn't care about them. Wash your hands and step away, assuming EA had anything worth being there for in the first place. (Spore excepted.)
