    I know I know, just something that might be interesting to see if anyone keeps pics of their old stuff. I can only go back to March of 2000...

  2. I still have my first computer ever, a Radio Shack TRS-80. I found it in a box a couple months back and set it up in my game room. Pretty crazy that my parents never sold it or got rid of it.

  4. I didnt take pictures but I made a spreadsheet with info in my new PC-fueled hysteria which I always get with new hardware (sup PS2 horizontal stand).

    This is what I remember. All dates are give or take a year or two.

    1985 - 1994 - Apple IIgs Woz edition 2.8 mhz (lol)
    1994 - 1996 - Power Mac (the first one to use the PC archetecture) 60 mhz
    1996 - 2001 - IBM Aptiva 700 mhz
    2001 - 2003 - self built pos 1.3 ghz
    2003 - 2003 - Compaq laptop 2.3 ghz
    2003 - 2005 - Toshiba laptop 2.8 ghz
    2006 - 2006 - Apple G5 dual core 2.3 ghz

  6. I forget the details, but my first computer ever was a Tandy something or other. It had a blazing 8Mhz processor, 30MB hard drive, some 640k of RAM, with PC-DOS 7.0.

    Good times.

  7. 1) Commodore Plus/4 with cassette drive.
    2) Commodore C64 with 1541-II drive
    3) Commodore C128D with 1581 3.5" drive and 20 Meg CMD Hd, and 2400 Bps modem
    That held me over for a loooooong time.

    4) Homebuilt Pentium 166MMX, 7 Gig, Voodoo Banshee Video

    5) Homebuilt P2-450 Oc'ed to 666mhz, 20 gig Voodoo 3.

    6) Homebuilt Athalon 900 768 ram, 360 Total gigs of HD, Nvidia MX400

    Number 7 is waaaay waaaay overdue, but I havent palyed games on my PC since GTA3, so its not a priority.

    1. Custom built 486DX; 66Mhz; 8MB RAM upgraded to 32MB; dont remember size of HD but it was small as hell; Windows 95.
    2. HP Pavilion PII; 450Mhz; 5GB HD; 64MB RAM; Windows 98
    3. (currently) Custom built P4; 2.3 Mhz; 80GB HD, 512MB RAM (want to upgrade to 1GB); Windows XP; nVidia w/128MB; 80GB external HD
    4. (currently) IBM Thinkpad R41; 40GB; P4; dont know Mhz or RAM. This was given by college.

    Whoever has a Apple PowerBook G4 they looking to unload, let me know. I'm looking for one at a decent price.

  10. 1) An IBM (I think) laptop. Around 1996 I think. Specs that were low as shit, maybe a 1 gig hard drive, Pentium <133mhz, 8 megs of ram, non existent display card, floppy drive, no modem 15" screen

    2)Gateway 2000, 256mb of ram, TNT2, Pentium II 500mhz, 20gig HD, 100mb zip drive, cd burner, on board nic and 28.8 modem, 17" CRT monitor, 2.1 Accustic Landsing speakers. August 1999-Jan 2003

    3)Current (some upgrades here and there over time) 1 gig of ram, Radeon 9600 128mb, 17" LCD, AMD XP 1.7ghz, 100 and 200 gig HD, dvd rom, dvd-r, ASUS mobo with on board nic and sound, 2.1 Cambridge Sundworks speakers (50 bucks and still going strong).
