I'm looking for recommendations more than anything. Where you ordered stuff and if you actually received it etc.

Oh. Well I've only ever ordered american joysticks and buttons from happ.

That doesn't help you at all.

I'd try the vast wastelands of ebay.

    Ask and ye shall receive.

    Your two best options are:

    Himura Amusements

    Akihabara Shop

If you order from Akihabara Shop, you're getting the parts brand new, straight from the manufacturer in Japan.

I've been wondering the same thing. He did it with political "humor" in maruchan's war thread, too.

  8. Thanks. Himura seems to have good stock, and unlike Akihabara they accept something other than PayPal. Prices are a bit high, though.

I've also been looking at this crowd:
    http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/arcadeparts.htm
The Sanwa stick bases there look more square than the rectangular-looking bases of the Sanwas on other sites, and they don't give a model number. They only sell standard buttons. I can't get an e-mail response from them either.

I visited the Gremlin Solutions site and wasn't too impressed.

Consider getting an octagon restrictor plate along with your Sanwa joystick. Most people on the Shoryuken.com forums buy the plate along with the joystick since it's easier to hit the corners than the standard plates.
