    Because animated death, violence, sex, nudity, cross dressers , what have you etc are totally for 10 year olds. And if they aren't then they can just edit it till it is, and add a horrifying aberration of rap for the theme song.

    Their right if they take into acount that a lot of anime are far to violent to be properly aimed at children in america

    Most of the 30 year old something people at conventions are otaku's who would buy anything dumbed down or not. the vast majority of the demographic who would follow anime are children.

    Yeah they really dont care about doing a disservice to the fans or any shit like that...they just wanna push action figures.

    However the other market still exists. Dumb it down all you want, just release a separate, untouched version for those of us who like show as it is.
