Guess I've learned something new. I thought that Brisco's choice of wording was a typo.

But yeah in the South, giving someone slack means to "let em' off easy".

Usually we'll say "cut them a little slack".

Yea, I'm from NC so I'm the same way. So many things differ as far as meaning and word choice down here. Guess you could call all this a culture clash. Like I already posted before, I meant no offense to anyone about that, and I am sorry it came across that way. I'll do my best to make it universally appealing next time. It was in no way directed at a particular group of people.
