I always liked the series. Even the ugly Xbox/PS2 game had a lot of fun and challenging sequences (but it was definitely ugly as sin). I'd check this one out, too, but it will really have to impress given the number of high-profile FPSs on the way.

I played it, you guys arent missing much. The dinos are cool and all but you can kill them all with one hit with the knife! The gun soundeffects are also really weak. Looks pretty good though. Only 1/3 of the achievements are single player, the rest are online.

OXM also rated the game a 7. The multiplayer is suppose to be good at least. Kinda funny the game only got a 7 since its their cover story.

I got the demo from GameStop about a month ago. Don't think you're missing anything. I think I played most of the way through, but by the time I was done I'd played as much of the game as I'll ever want to.

That's really a shame. I had fun with Turok, even though it was like a B movie equivalent to a game, and I had high hopes that it would turn into a new, pretty, solid game in the same vein.
