4. Don't invade other's personal space or eating environment, ask if you want/need something.

My dad always gets pissed off with me because I take food off my fork with my teeth sometimes, which makes a sound, whereas apparently you're meant to take food off your fork using your lips.

When I heard about this it was so fucking retarded. My girlfriend is American from filipino decent and she eats with a spoon and a fork so i began to eat like that and i like it way more! I can get more food in my face with least amout of strokes. Like hitting a par 4 on your plate!

If you go way down south people use the side of their thumb, while upper south (upper miss, mid tenn) people use a muffin, bread, or a butter knife to push those last few veggeis.
