This sounds pretty awesome.Originally Posted by Frogacuda
I didn't like the sparse level design. It was very spread out, empty, and made the action very slow paced. There was a distinct lack of levels, too which made it repetitive to boot.Originally Posted by Sega saturn x
Oh.. IGN had some nice ones. Gamespot, too... Obvious answers, I know.Originally Posted by napalm
I've seen videos of the octopus and robot bosses. The robot was just awesome.
Anyone know where to dl a video of the spider boss?
Expectations. Sunshine was a fun game that would have been adored by many had it not been a Mario game. However, given its pedigree, it had to live up to Mario 64, which it failed to do.Originally Posted by Sega saturn x
Sunshine is to 64 as World is to 3. It has less variety for environments, Mario is more versatile thanks to a new addition (FLUDD and the cape), Yoshi's added, the level design is a bit looser and more spacious, etc.
The problem is that none of this is executed as well as it was in World.
And even with this grandiose addition, the games felt like let downs.Originally Posted by sethsez

Except for Yoshi's Island, of course.
