Not know the 'ins and outs' of something? It's our National Anthem. If it isn't important enough to a person to learn the lines to it (especially considering how short and easy to learn it is compared to something like La Marseillaise), then how does it suddenly become valid for them to get all assy about it when some people decide to do the remix of it en Espanol?

You vaguely had a point until you said this. This is garbage. Any thought that comes into people's heads is not instantly valid, that's ridiculous. People make their 'thoughts or feelings' valid by making a convincing case for them, i.e. giving reasons why they think a certain way and why you should to.

I challenge everyone whose against the national anthem in Spanish to sing the English version without looking up the words.

How do I go about doing this? Meaning do I post it here? But then it looks like I looked it up on the 'net. If I sing it too you on XBL you'd probably mute me, and to make matters worse I don't have XBL now. But I do know the anthem.

BTW ... I am against this wall idea. At this point there is no easy solution; either way you go about this issue ... USA loses. If you deport all illegals we lose the common blue collar worker. If you let them stay our economy suffers. No matter what they do or we talk about. The American people lose.

I realized this after the HR thread. I sat back and thought about what everyone was saying. And thats what I realized. This issue is a gray area. No matter what you do someone is BOUND to be hurt by the decision.
