I actually liked the first one so
I heard nothing but good things about the Invisible Man TV series that was on SCIFI a few years ago. You might want to hunt that down (although I'm not sure if it's on DVD yet)
Also, I enjoyed the Chevy Chase Invisible Man movie as a kid. I have no idea if it aged well but John Carpenter directed it so it might be worthwhile.
