How's that Planet Earth? Is the regular DVD version worth getting or is it just eye candy that you hi-def owners use to justify your HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player purchases?

If you dig documentaries about nature buy it. It may well be the best ever produced. But I'm not gonna lie, it's fucking gorgeous in HD.

However you people buying the SD release get a few nice extras (one of which is a 3-part, 2 1/2 hour series about the future of the planet) that got left off the HD versions for some brilliant reason.
